Advertising at dinner...
My husband and I went to dinner tonight at the Cheesecake Factory which we hadn't been to in about six years. I was irritated to open the menu and find that every page of the menu had a full page ad on the left side. I came to the restaurant for dinner, not to be solicited. Is there any place safe from advertising?

It's sad, but there's NO place to hide from advertising. It is everywhere one goes! At home, work, school... It envelops almost every aspect of our lives!
ReplyDeleteI already pulled the plug on the TV because of Advertising. Comcast charges too much for 65 channels of garbage. Now I am ready to pull the plug on the internet for the same reason.
ReplyDeleteAnd these AD SENSE ads on google are the straw that is breaking the camels back.
bad enough I get 20 lbs of junk mail in my snail male box each month.
We just can't get away from this crap.
